# Volunteering

A race rests on the people who reach the course hours before the first runner. The start corral, the aid stations, the finish chute — volunteers build all of it. Join them.

## What you get

- 01 ### Kit

  The volunteer shirt, cap and rain jacket are yours to keep. They make you visible on the course from far away.
- 02 ### Meals on shift

  Water, isotonic drinks and a hot meal on race day. You are looked after the same way the runners are.
- 03 ### Certificate

  An official race volunteer certificate. Useful for a portfolio, a university application or a job.
- 04 ### The best spot

  The finish chute, where runners empty the tank. You will not see that from the stands or a broadcast.
- 05 ### Briefing

  A walkthrough the day before the start: what your post does, how to help a runner and who to reach if something goes wrong.
- 06 ### A crew of your own

  A hundred people building the race alongside you. Many come back for the next start just for the company.
